"screenplay" review - Henry cyril
PLOT: Peter Lambert has been shot at; he lost his memory, but survived. Now he only wants one thing – to remember. Who was he in his previous life? Who tried to kill him? And most importantly, why? And what if he deserved being shot at? Someone’s invisible hand is writing a screenplay full of violence and gore – that may be no accident. A stranger swears to take revenge on a child murderer, a mysterious sadist writes a story of their cruelties into a diary… What does it all have to do with Peter? And does he really need to remember?
AUTHOR: Henry Cyril
This book exposes the most cruel part of the human being, a dark side we bury, often deny, but that here is the undisputed protagonist. A restless, unsettling, explicit story that will keep you glued to the pages from beginning to end, attracting you in a spiral of violence, dark atmospheres and lost memories... will rediscover them be a good idea or the beginning of the end?
The characters were perfectly built and I really appreciated how, during the story, we're able to explore their feelings, their thoughts, and their psychology through little things.
Deep and surprising, Screenplay is a perfect reading for those looking for mystery, adventure and twists, a flowing book but that is not easily forgotten!
